Hi everyone i feel a bit more human today , not so tired or warn out hopefully it’s the chemo easing off .What mouthwash would you suggest ? My mouth is nowhere as sore as it was before treatment & it’s just sore on soft pallet & at the front on my gums , I haven’t really eaten much since Monday & have lost 5lb in a couple of days & I can’t afford too .I just need a mouthwash to maybe soothe my mouth before trying to eat & keep those sores at bay . Any suggestions would be great thank you xx
I had two; Biotene, which was a moisturising one that helped with the dry mouth, and Difflam, which contains benzydamine hydrochloride, which was for the pain...sore throat/ulcers etc.

They are the same and yes there is a little alcohol. if it hurts too much you can dilute it
The Swallows are including Mucosamine in their treatment boxes and that’s supposed to have excellent results in dealing with mucositis. You could ask at your next session.
