Im still eating a normal ak diet

My nasal passages are now clear as before treatment completely obstructed

What should i expect end of week 3

Thank You XX

  • Hi. I think you will just get more and more sore so that eating will be more difficult. If you haven’t already you’ll probably get mucositis which looks like ulceration. Tell your radiographers hiw you are feeling. They will make sure you get adequate analgesia.
Try to be really careful with keeping your mouth clean.
I used Difflam mouthwash to help numb my throat before eating and Caphosol to help prevent the ulcers. Swilling your mouth with bicarbonate is quite effective too. Don’t  despair about the RIG. I’m sure they will get it in in time.
