Sadly on Monday our meeting with the oncologist to review my husbands ongoing radiotherapy plan was not good. We have had a difficult weekend with me calling an ambulance and oxygen being delivered at midnight. So the oncologist has said my husband is too weak for further treatment due to his copd causing problems and she said if he was admitted to hospital he wouldn't be coming home. Today I needed to call the District nurses as he was acting very distressed only to be told he probably has days not weeks left to live. I am heartbroken and cannot process what is happening to the true love of my life

Oh, Hippycat how so terribly sad for you both after all the hopes you had. I can only imagine how heartbroken you are. Cuddle him in your arms and your heart and a hug from me
