  • So sorry to hear this Cissy as we build ourselves up and prepare ourselves mentally only to be let down, it happed once with me a few years ago but i only had to wait two days . The surgeons and consultants do get upset as it must be just as bad for them to let patients down. Fingers crossed for a speedy new date, best wishes.

  • Oh Cissy, I'm so disappointed for your both. I hope they can find a way round this as soon as possible.

The impact of this pandemic is so desperately awful for people in dire straits.

Sorry to hear that the Covid effect has struck.  That is so unfair, but hopefully the delay will not be detrimental to the treatment - just more wearing on both of you.

My secondary care is from Salisbury and the tertiary care is Southampton.

  • Oh that's so disappointing Cissy.  As you say, the surgeons get as frustrated having to cancel operations as the we do.

Congratulations on the birth of your grandchild and fingers crossed your husband's operation will be soon.
