  • Hi guys sorry for hiding under the invisibilty cloak (I told Potter not to give it to me) but happy Christmas to all. I've had a great Christmas Day....sat in A&E for six hours, nothing dramatic just my RIG fell apart this morning, great timing! Sums up my year.

I'm really moved by the number/nature of personal messages I've had in my absence and I'll reply to all I promise, the powers that be have stopped sending me email notifications so I've not been aware.

New Year's resolution....live up to champ status or resign.

  • Merry Xmas to everyone.

Mike, so good to hear from you. I think you have done more than enough in the 3 years I have been on this forum to deserve your Community Champion title

Let's hope for a better New year for every one.

  • Hi Mike

So glad to hear from you after all this time and sorry to hear about the RIG breakdown. It is a bit soul destroying hanging out in A@E especially at Christmas and with all the Covid carry on.

Wishing you a much better 2021. Don’t even think of resigning as a champion. You’ve always given such good advice and I know that I personally appreciated the help you gave me when I first joined the forum. Give yourself some time to get back on top of things.

    Wishing you all the best

  • Great to hear from you Mike, i think the sooner this year gets the boot the better for you, i can sense you are on the mend by your sense of humour. I'm also having trouble with E-mail notification, apparently, the tech team is looking into it, i will let them know you are having issues.

Let us hope your New Years' resolution comes true as we will then know we have the old Mike back. Take care and stay safe mate.

  • Hi Mike. Great to hear from you. I hope sitting in A&E puts a nail in this years coffin for you and you can bury it deep with all the rubbish this year has brought. Onwards and forwards as they say and the next year will be better for all of us. I've been on the forum just over two years and you and Chris were the first ones to reach out to me and I will never forget it. Take your time to recover and bounce back when you are ready. Happy New Year xx
