Face to Face appointment

Hi

Many of you may remember back in October I got downgraded from regular Cancer clinics to general ENT . Managed to get reinstated after contacting Macmillan and today had my first face to face appointment since February.

Pleased to report all went well, scoped and thorough examination of inside of mouth.Consultant very happy at what she saw everything looking healthy. Upon neck examination she agreed that one tendon on right beside of neck the heavily radiated side was showing signs of late onset radiation fibrosis.it’s not bothering me apart from baking or cooking when stood and bend head. She’s referring me for physiotherapy in meanwhile keep moving head and shoulder curls. 
Was also asked if I would take next face to face appointment as a nurse led one I will be almost 3 years post treatment by then ( next 3 month one phone call ) She did say an ENT consultant would be in next room if needed so I agreed. 
One thing that she did stress if at anytime I felt the need of a face to face I had to contact my Macmillan nurse as ENT are ready and waiting to  see us.

All that that  remains is for me to say Merry Christmas here’s to a better 2021.Everyone In treatment or diagnosis keep strong.Stay safe
