New development in the last couple of weeks , my husband stops breathing regularly through the night , I have not told him yet and I know that’s crazy but he would not cope with more bad news , I read about sleep apnea and it’s quite common with throat problems. Nudge him and he takes a big gasp of breath , last night I counted how long he stopped breathing for and it was 47 seconds , so that can’t be good , how do I tell him without panicking him
Hi Curly
can you see if getting him to sleep on his side might help? My husband does that if he sleeps on his back. It’s quite disconcerting. I know your husband has a swollen throat but even folk who don’t, suffer from it so maybe just tell him if he’s in his back he snores enough to lift the roof.
