Yesterday I had a virtual appointment with the dietician and the speech therapy radiology nurses. I love technology, so there I was at home on my computer discussing with the nurses who were in the hospital my upcoming treatment. Amazing
Today, I had the date for the start of my treatment on the 17th of December, so although not looking forward to it its a relief to know its starting.
It’s the way forward. It’s great that it can be done. My hospital trips for treatment and SALT and dietician appointments were a four hour round trip driving. I could have done with a few e-consults myself.
At least you’ll be able to tuck into Christmas dinner. I managed mine after just over a weeks RT. Yours is targeted lower down so you should be ok.
