Hi I just wanted to update the price who have supported me

Firstly I apologise for the lack of being on here for the last few weeks

We came to the end of my husband's journey last week after him contracting a chest infection and spending his final 3 weeks in hospital

He was operated on 2 days after being diagnosed with a chest infection and never recovered

I'm lost I feel things should of been done differently but there's nothing that will give me my beautiful man back

We had been given 6-12 months at diagnosisi in September but ended up with 2 month's and 7 days

In that short time we managed to get married and have a little over Iggy break away

But I still feel robbed

so sorry to hear your devastating news, please don't apologise for not being here. I remember you posting from the beginning.

You have been in the worst of places, both of you.

I am so glad that at least you two were married and you can keep that in your heart even though it is desperately inadequate.

There is a Bereaved Partners section if you feel that might help

    Thankyou

I'll have a look at that as although I have family I don't feel they understand what I'm feeling

I think they all think I'm a bit mad but I know what I saw and I know there was mistakes and I can't get away from that

As I said there's nothing I can do now and I did try at the time to tell them but they wouldn't listen

I don't believe the cancer took him

I think an error with a Ng tube did

    Broken heart

  • So saddened to hear this Bella , please do not apologise as you have been through so much in a short space of time, so pleased you managed to get married and have a little break. Thinking of you at this difficult time, take care.

I do hope you can get some answers to your questions about your hubby’s treatment Am sure your family will be there for you. When you are ready your hospital should have a PALS service for you to follow up your concerns.
