The good news today, the first biopsy worked! So I don't need to have a biopsy under a general anaesthetic on the 30th of November. Which also means I no longer have to self-isolate I will be given the result on Thursday afternoon and will be advised as to what treatment is on offer.

I had a cancer in the base of my tongue. T2 no nodes.
I am 22 months out of radiotherapy and living well with just niggly problems with taste and saliva but they are manageable.
