Anyone gone through this process and how was it?

  • Hi Liz and welcome to the community. I know you'd rather not be here but we are here for you so just shout out for help when you need it.

There have been great successes with immunotherapy and many people are alive and well years after.

There is a thread running here currently IMMUNOTHERAPY

In that thread is an other link to searching the community for more threads.

This may be of some help

Both and are on this. I think they are both on Cemiplimab and I'm sure they will chip in with their experiences pretty soon.

If you are having platinum therapy first then going onto immunotherapy you might find blog useful. I can give you a link if you send me a friend request so that I can private message you.

If you have time it would be useful to put down a potted history in your profile then people can tailor their help, so to speak, without you having to repeat what's wrong

All the best and tell us more about yourself

    Take care

Thank you, its looking like I'll need to start chemo 1st in hope to reduce the main tumour under my tongue and the spread to my lungs which is currently tiny! Immunotherapy is the back up because I am being told it takes alot longer for the initial results although better in the long run, Its an absolute minefield..

Anyone had immunotherapy for similar cancer??
