Although I have had a screening for Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm for the last 5 years, during the CT scan to check for cancer, it has come to light I have a bigger problem than we thought.
The CT scan gives a much clearer picture of the problem and unfortunately, the consultant has said it would be too dangerous to operate so my only hope is that it doesn't tear or rupture if or when that occurs my hopes of survival are very slim.
It still hasn't been confirmed I have cancer of the voicebox if I have I will make sure I have the treatment required and if successful I will worry about the Aneurysm later.

Obviously It would be out of place of me to ask why you have been refused elective surgery but is there any point in seeking a second opinion?
