Please can you tell me which non metallic moisturizer s there are as I need one to.use as I start my radiotherapy Tuesday.
Ooooo Ron51 I’ve never heard of MooGoo. Sounds interesting.
Im always shocked when I read these posts that the hospital isn’t providing everything you need.
My hubby is 13 weeks post treatment and he was given absolutely everything he needed for both the external and internal side effects.
He was given Flamigel by the bucket load to use all the way through treatment and then when he finished he was given Flamazine high contains silver so can’t be used till treatment is over.
We also bought Aveeno.

Hubby - Left tonsil squamous cell carcinoma P16 positive with neck nodes T1N1M0 - 30 fractions of radiotherapy and 6 weeks of chemotherapy, Cisplatin in December / January 2019/20
Me - Invasive lobular breast cancer - Grade 2, Stage 2 - mastectomy October 2019 - 15 fractions of radiotherapy December / January 2019/20
It is good and I was given everything I needed from the hospital or they arranged it through my GP.
I was a bit skeptical about the cream but was given it, I used to be a shepherd and used the full on udder cream to stop my hands cracking at lambing time, that didn't soak in very well so wouldn't be any good for the neck, the MooGoo goes in easily though and would be a very good barrier at any time, I'm not on commission by the way.
Hi there!
I know, I had loads of other stuff on prescription but never offered skin cream. I said I was using Aveeno and they thought 'oh good' I think !!
I did, however, after reading a post of yours prev, mention flamigel/zine & my consultant was hands up in air & categorically said NO!!
Isn't it odd how they all prefer different things?? Altho my skin wasn't peeling/broken just pink at the time....the Aveeno did work for me thru treatment but I have read about flamigel etc so I don't know why he is so anti.
How is Ken doing 13 weeks post treatment? I'm 5 weeks & still a few irritating ulcers one side & dry/sore throat. Getting me down now I must admit!
Peg tube removed 2 weeks ago, I never used it during 7 weeks treatment. Drank the fortisips!!! But the post stuff hasn't been good.. ..
