Hi Paul we are all rooting for Mo aka St Bernard Lady , but yes you're right a lot of the treatment is patient led , in my case after 2 chemotherapy I was given the choice of having the 3rd I turned tables on my lovely oncologist by saying ok if I was your wife and she had handled everything like I had and her treatment had followed the same as me what would you advise .His reply was umm interesting turn around I would say let’s not push for the 3rd one youve handled  the 2 so well no sickness no tinnitus.So I said yep that was my decision anyway .rant over

I did exactly the same thing re asking consultant "if it was your wife what would you recommend". I did feel bad but, 26 years ago there was no google, just a library and a book suggested if you were in a dilemma..... I got an answer and although it wasn't a route I wanted to take for BC, I think it took away a lot of needless worrying.

Hi Paul hope your treatment is going OK I expect the problems are starting to kick in now.  Keep strong. 

Quick update got a call this morning and my surgery biopsy excision is booked for tomorrow morning got to be dropped off at 7.30 am, no one allowed in with me, so off to bed soon.  Still don't believe it will go ahead until they wake me up on the other side.  Anyway 5th time lucky if we get this done then the mask fitting should be able to go ahead on 22nd April and depending on results from surgery as to if they are targeting one area or two.  Fingers crossed, hopefully be able to confirm its been done tomorrow or the next day if I have too many drugs in the system.
