Can i ask if any one had sore bloody nose while on Flot Chemo 3rd round
Hi Nicnac12
Sorry to see that you have a sore bloody nose on your Flot Chemo.
I had a bit of irritation in and around my nose when I noticed that the fine hairs were gone due to the chemo. I also had a lot of soreness in my mouth.
Best thing to do is to give your helpline/CNS a call and mention it. They can then arrange to check your platelets etc in case they are low on your next blood test. I had low levels after the first couple of cycles. They may also be able to provide a cream or something to help to make you feel more comfortable.
Hope this helps, but if there is anything else you need please do ask.
Jane
No problem- I rang my help line many times and they were always fine with me doing it and it is sometimes just reassurance you need but sometimes they can send a prescription through for you. They are the experts as they know all your details.
I hope it can get sorted quickly
