A week has almost passed since last dose of radiation treatment.
I was told and probably fellow oesophageal patients were told, that the side effects and general issues would get worse. Well they weren't wrong !
I hope that very soon I will feel better. I have just received some helpful guidelines and medications to ease the symptoms. How many months or weeks do I have to get through ?
I wouldn't be so impatient perhaps if I hadn't weighed myself yesterday and found that l have lost half a stone in weight. I have no appetite. Food doesn't taste the same.
I am hoping that with Christmas looming, I will be able to tuck into a nice roast lunch with all the trimmings.
