I would like to know the best foods and drinks to consume that won't cause any pain.
I'm good at remembering some foods to eat, but would like to hear from anybody on what they find best to consume through the day.
I suspect it's best to eat little and often.
Thanks and best wishes
Angela
Hi Angela. You will probably get many answers on this question but I think you need to provide some more information on where you are in the process so that the feedback is relevant. I.e. preop and postoperative diet recommendations tend to be different as they are for others receiving alternative treatment etc. If you put it in your profile you will not need to repeat it here. Hope you get some good feedback.
I have been on a soft food diet for the last year since being diagnosed, and i have things such as pasta, mashed potato, eggs etc.
Hi Angela,
I was referred to the hospital dietician and their advice was perfect, they had great recommendations and provided leaflets to take home. They also keep in touch for as long as you need them.
I am sure if you contact your team they will be happy to make the referral for you.
