Hi,
I am straight out of the hospital from the operation and am still slightly confused about what to eat especially the first few weeks post op, if anybody could give advice it would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Alex
Hi. Glad to read you now have that op. behind you. The simplest advice I was given on sloppy food was to eat anything I fancied that could be mashed up by a fork. Gradually return to your normal diet but in much smaller quantities and chew everything into very small pieces before swallowing. It is a bit of a drawn out journey but it will improve eventually. I did put out one of my own favourite recipes recently within one of the new hello threads just in case that was any use to others but of course we all have individual likes and dislikes with regard to food.. Hope all goes well for you.
