Does anybody experience pain in their chest at night ? It’s like I want to belch but can’t ! I’ve tried sitting upright and walking about, lying flat, lay on my front last night to see if that would help, having a warm drink it does eventually ease but don’t know if anybody else gets this ? And if so do they have any tips !!!
Hi Tricia I’m sorry you’re having some bad nights. Chris hasn’t mentioned any pain just some reflux or occasional retching. Have you contacted the upper GI nurses …. they are so good at speaking to the surgeons ….. probably worth asking for a check I know you would do that anyway. Is it perhaps trapped wind somehow? Sorry I’m not more help.

Thanks Gerry yes it does feel like trapped wind ! I did mention it at my last meeting with jennie wheat in passing and she didn’t seem concerned but I was just wondering if anyone else had it ! Hope you’re both keeping ok. On the plus side I don’t get the back ache so much !!
That’s good news Tricia Chris still suffers with back pain and discomfort from the inguineal hernia. The aneurysm op is on hold for a little while as Chris doesn’t yet feel strong enough for another huge surgery …. he’s doing well compared to many so we are grateful for that but still very thin.
