My employer has a third-party insurance scheme, which will potentially pay a portion of my salary if I am unable to return to work after cancer treatment. The scheme is subject to acceptance by the insurer and includes support such asexercise/physio, counselling. This could be paid until I am of retirement age, or in the event that I recover enough to return to work.
I don't have a lot of information at this stage, so I would be very interested to hear from anyone who has experienced this and any insights that could be shared.
Thanks in advance.
VV
