Hi not been on for ages partner finally started his chemo and omg after first lot he found he could eat more soild foods hes list wuite a bit of weight but hes putting it on. Little side effects has ct scan today amd a face 2 face with consutant tomorrow next chemo is on 20

That’s amazing! Was it literally after the dose or a few days after? My dad starts his treatment with folfox Tuesday and we’re so on edge hoping he notices an improvement.

It was a base scan jus to check how hes doing hes got bloods todtay ready for chemo on thursday

Oh im not sure begins with a c he also as immue therapy hot chemo tomorrow then he takes tablets for 14 days after

oh yes my dad just started a new regimen with immunotherapy opdivo (nivolumab is the other name). I think the pills are "Capecitabine". Brilliant news he's finding it easier to eat, hope he can get his weight back on!
