Hi …Just wanted to share this
Today my son and grandson walked 47 miles from where they live in Horwich ( outskirts of Bolton) to Leeds and raised £902 to date for Macmillan Cancer Support ..This total will be added to the total raised at the Macmillan fundraiser which we attend in October of every year .They did it on behalf of my husband ( an avid walker prior to being affected by oesophageal cancer ) Just a small payback and thank you to Macmillan Cancer Support for their help and support when we needed them in 2022 . My husband always planned to do this walk when he’d recovered but due to treatment issues he has been left with it hasn’t been possible …So the lads did it for him .
What an achievement ! So proud of them both ️
regards J
