That’s good to hear. I have been following ‘Geo Ferret’s’ posts as we started this journey at similar times. I haven’t actually posted anything myself, but am truly pleased to hear that the operation has gone well.

We can look forward now Geoferret and maybe start to ‘live’ again soon. Well done I knew you could do it, I am so proud of you ️

Try not to worry too much about the op. They keep on top of your pain relief for you after. It is a little sore and lots of pipes everywhere but the nurses on the ICU look after you really well. There's one on one care and you have a buzzer if they have to stay for something. Nothing is too much for them. It's very difficult to cough because it's quite uncomfortable. When do you have your op booked for?

Hi Tink, we'll be fine. Caravan holiday In spring to Dorset. Give us something to look forward to. Just got to crack next chemo. Who knows maybe I won't need it...lol.

Thank you for your response. You sound an amazing person. I’ve been a constant reader of this site since my diagnosis in May and have followed your story. I’ve  been provisionally told 31st October but will know more over the coming weeks x
