Hi, my husband has had flot, surgery, flot and everything was going great considering. About 2 months ago he started to get pains in his left side, he was told he was doing too much too soon. However I noticed changed in his personality but was told that was frustration and that he was recovering from oesophageal cancer fantastically. On Sunday he took a seizure and after a CT scan they have found two tumours. I’ve heard it’s rare for a secondary on the brain from oesophagus cancer because of all the new treatments. He’s getting a body scan Thursday to see if there is spread anywhere else which will determine if he gets treat to cure or simply to be made comfortable. I am struggling finding myself back here waiting and wondering what’s in store for us and my 3 babies…. Has this happened to anyone else and has anyone any advice or knowledge xxxx
Hi Betty my husband has had the same this year as yours, he turned 47 yesterday. He finished his 2nd flot of chemo on the 1st sept, we now await the scan. The results after his surgery were not great and there is a high chance it will return somewhere else.
I feel for you and I am sending you strength
Sending you all the love and luck in the world. Plenty of vitamins, if he’s struggling to eat lots of fresh smoothies. Don’t be shy about shouting for help and more answers. Look after you too, you need to be healthy throughout all of this. If I can ever help in any way I’m here xxxx
Sending all my love, there’s still hope Im not giving up! We have appointment for body scan today to see what hope there is but I’ve researched alternatives and some of the stories have been amazing so will be starting that this week. I actually had the privilege of meeting someone with same cancer given 6-12wks to live & he sat in front of me 5 years later after changing his diet & self medication with oils. We can’t give up. Xxxx
