Hi ,I’m having a bronchoscopy I’m so scared.Has anyone been through this ? Would like any advice pleas
My wife is not a good patient. She is not brave. She had a bronchoscopy a few years ago. She was conscious throughout but sedated. She was very chirpy and not the least anxious when she returned from having the procedure. (Actually she was as high as a kite).
I can’t tell you not to be scared but I don’t think it will be any different to a gastroscopy. I’ve had a couple of those and with sedation rather than local anaesthetic, they are ok.
Counting the days, making every day count.
