My fiance is at stage 4 with liver and lung mets. Oncologist is suggesting FOLFOX with possible immunotherapy. She said that FOLFOX may cause mild nausea but not extreme. No hair loss and basically less harsh than some other chemo regimens. Has this been anyone's experience with FOLFOX?
Hi SunLove
Dal is on Folfox/Herceptin which is the suggested treatment for your fiance and immunotherapy, he has very little in the way of any side effects. He has had 50 cycles of this treatment so far, every two weeks.
Hopefully your fiance will manage just as well on it, if this is what is decided as best treatment.
Best of Luck

Thank you once again, Lowedal! I feel like you are a friend. We are still waiting to see if the test comes back HER2 positive and if Herceptin will be part of the first line treatment. It's wonderful to know that your husband has had so few side effects, especially since he is in his 50s like my fiance. Here's to Dal's continuing good health! Sending love from the USA
