So told today that the results of my biopsy are inconclusive, CT  scan didn’t help, so now waiting for a second endoscopy ( oh wonderful) apparently this one will be done by a consultant, also going to have a PET scan.

the first endoscopy had issues, couldn’t get past the first growth.

so more waiting.

is this common

im getting to the point where I’m starting to have difficulty eating, down to soup etc..

  • Hi Mark

Sorry to read that here is more waiting for you.

The PET scan will give you more answers hopefully.

As for the eating if possibly try sloppy type foods but remember no matter how sloppy, chew... chew and chew... I know this sounds strange but we believe this may help you.

Good luck, and I hope the PET scan is soon

  • Mark if you can afford it a cold press is great. Blitz up loads of veg and fruit. Don't be scared to water stuff down including soup and take your time. Listen to your body and if you are struggling stop and eat something else after a rest.

Ok so finally got my Clinic appointment next Thursday.

What I'd like to ask is Questions to ask, guess I probably know the basic ones but has anyone got any suggestions on the not so obvious ones, Obviously I'll be getting my detailed diagnosis and prognosis, but especially as I'll be going on my own, I'd just like any suggestions.

    Thanks,

    Mark.
