Hi Brent, I am slowly becoming less interested in this site now. I still think the changes have been detrimental, reflected by the lack of posts by people who used the old site regularly. The private message system is more difficult to use and check for replies. Anyway I had sent you a message a couple of days ago, I hope you are well. Kind regards, Frank.
Hi Please don't think me rude for joining in your message to Brent. If he is amongst your list of friends, click connect and you should be able to send a private message. Just make sure you take the tick off the send button, otherwise every time you start a new paragraph it'll be a new message.
When he replies you'll get a notification at top right of screen) There's 4 small tabs - Notifications, Messages, Bookmarks and Profile.
.Hope that helps. I've only ever used this format since I joined in August 2020 so I don't know what the old one was like.
Kind regards B x

Hi B, it's now an event trying to find my list of friends, it's more complicated now than it used to be. I did manage to send a message a few days ago, but when I go to my list of friends and click on connect I was given options to unfriend or send a message and one other option, which I can't remember. Prior to the update I had regular posts from about 10 people I was friends with. Most of them have never posted since the update probably because of login problems and just gave up. I think I have about 20 friends listed, 1or 2 occasionally post the rest have disappeared. Maybe Brent hasn't been on the site in the last week. Kind regards, Frank.
I’m here Frank.
Bloody late but I’m listening.
Im just speechless at the moment.

I have to agree with you Frank. Its not as easy. Im all for change if it brings improvement..
Hope you and Brent are keeping safe and well.
All the best
Pete
Pete, I'm all for change if it makes things easier, and the changes made so far I would say have made things more difficult. I think that is reflected by the amount of people we saw regularly posting prior to the changes compared with now. I think there's about 3 people from the past I see who still post occasionally. Yourself being one of them. I hope you are keeping well, kind regards. Frank.
I’m told that MSN users (aka hotmail) are not getting notifications. I’m going to try reactivating my gmail account to see if that improves things, But it’s not just that things are different on this site, things are more difficult and it’s full of bugs. IT user testing is always difficult and test script wiriting when left to the IT teams often leads to testing which is too narrow in scope, which I suspect was the problem with the upgrade. Once implemented bug fixing takes a lot more effort and resource. Resource, I suspect is in short supply in a charitable organisation.
Counting the days, making every day count.
