Has anyone had a pet scan before the 12 weeks after radiotherapy and if so was it clear enough to see if tumour had gone . I only ask as my husband has to have a pet scan with in two weeks to see if tumour has gone and to see if there are any spread apart from his tongue before any treatment is offered, he is only four weeks post radical radiotherapy, so will be six weeks when we see head and neck team on 7 July .
