  1. Hi all, I'm new to the group, my mum 66 was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer in July 24, however, now diagnosed with esophagus cancer which has spread to the lung, her tumor is 30cm in length, she's just had a stent fitted after removing a feeding tube, not sure if anyone has been through anything like this, im just so worried about timescales as just coming to terms with this, as now on palliative care, I know everyone is different, but I'm petrified moving forward
  • Hi CrazyMama, I’m so sorry to hear about your mum. My late mum was diagnosed in August and passed that November, so sadly it was only 3 months, but everyone is different. She has her stent so hopefully able to maintain a healthy weight by eating some foods. Sending you love x

  • Hi skyfullofstars,

I'm very sorry to hear about your mum and that it was so sudden, we're just awaiting a specialist oncology appointment to discuss any treatments, I'm sure they will be able to provide better estimate as they monitor her, a few of us have signed up for the Scotland macmillan walk in August, my mum said she wants to be at the finish line for us, im praying Pray that she makes it to that,

    Thanks x
