Hi, this may sound selfish but I really need to hear some success stories, my family are really struggling to stay positive and everything on the internet is so depressing. I know people can’t survive forever but there must be people who exceed the statistics surely?
hi justfortoday
I am so sorry to read your story. I cannot imagine what you and your family must be going through. I have an 11 year old son too. I really hope you have all the help, support and treatment you need and you find the strength to get through it. You sound like a very strong person.
My husband was diagnosed with a tumour in the frontal lobe in April 2013, had an op in May which removed most of it then radiotherapy for 6 weeks followed by 9 cycles of oral chemotherapy, temozolamide. It did recur less than 2 years later and he had chemo again for another 6 cycles.
I am thinking of you and please ask me if you have any more questions.
kindest regards
Hi
Great to read your message, fantastic news.
I'd love to understand more details about the remedy you've discovered. I'm Sept 2017 Glio Grade 4 so it will be great to know more...
Thanks again for posting,
All the best
Chris
Hi Gem, and everyone
I loved your post, I became part of this group because of my mum, she lived 8 1/2 years from diagnosis, and she was diagnosed in 1986 (I am not in anyway medical but I like to think we are better at the medical stuff since then) . I started posting because I had noticed people were looking for genuine stories of survival longer than the Google statistics. Your story and attitude are a genuinely great start to my day.
I wish you and your family and everyone else who reads these posts a happy weekend.
Mark
P. S. Perhaps get another cat?
Hi My partner then aged 65 was diagnosed with Glio Iv in June 2016. He had debulking op, the 30 x radiotherapy with adjunct chemo and 6 months of 5/28 chemo. Last August and Nov scans showed tumour still shrinking and last scan in Feb showed all stable. Now a year since any medication: he is a bit tired and his short term memory not good and he is a lot more needy and emotional than he used to be but he is really pretty well and we are getting on with it.
Hi Brian,
I’ve read a lot of your responses to messages on this site and just wanted to say how much I admire your calm and positive attitude. You remind me of my amazing husband and I salute you, Sir. Keep on keeping on and fighting the good fight! Best wishes and positive vibes coming your way, from me to you. Regards from Surrey ☀️
Hello Tigger
You are very kind writing as you have. Thank you. I wish you well from the County next door, in a southerly direction, East Sussex.
