Hi. I was diagnosed with stage 2A follicular lymphoma in about April and have since had four infusions of rituximab I have just started my two monthly injections. Shortly after I was diagnosed and started the treatment I developed very sharp pains along the top of my foot when walking. I seem to be puzzling all doctors physios and podiatrists and have begun to wonder if it might be a side effect of either the treatment or the disease. Has anyone else had pain in the top of their foot since starting treatment? It feels as if it's between the metatarsals and a sort of nerve pain almost.
Finished my 6 cycles of chemo had 1 rituximab maintenance treatment
I have had pains in the bottom of my feet at the front, and in my big toes.
Also black nails and losing the nail so far lost three new nails have grown back normally, I was told this was a side effect of the chemo treatment
Hi bedrock Fred Yes I have dead toes and foot pain it is the chemo the R I finished my chemo end of November and my feet are still the same that’s why I decided not to have the maintenance didn’t need any more side effects from the R. Still have fatigue and my lungs took a hit as well spoke to my consultant and he said it might keep the follicular lymphoma at bay a bit longer might not so I decided it wasn’t worth having it for two years getting more damage so I’ll worry about it when it does return, good luck to you and our follicular lymphoma pals hope all goes well for you all.
