Hi All

Wondered what the consensus on here was on Rebounding (gently bouncing on a small trampoline) for FL?

Many sites/ sources seem to rate it highly as a good form of exercise for helping to get the lymph system moving and eliminating toxins.

However, don't want to get Hubby doing anything if it might be detrimental, i.e. If it could actually aid the spread (if that's even possible) or be a little too impactful.

just wondered if anyone had any views?

Thanks.

Diane

    Hi Peter

Sorry, missed your original post as for some reason Im not getting the emails when a new post comes in.

Tai Chi is wonderful (as is Qi Gong), very calming and relaxing. Did you see the recent  'Trust Me, I'm a Doctor' prog on BBC1 which conducted a trial wich proved that Tai Chi was as beneficial as Zumba in terms of improving fitness (I don't think it would be in terms of calorie burn / weight loss but that wasn't the point of the trial). Very interesting.

We've been doing some yoga and that's really relaxing too and great for keeping the blood flowing.

Hope you enjoy your class. Let us know how you got on.

    Hi Diane!

These sites don't lie :) Trampoline workouts help to stimulate the lymph system and to remove toxins from your body. Moreover, it helps to be in good shape because it is a great cardio exercise. You can watch some videos on YouTube - these workouts are not hard, and you can do them even if you are at ~60 (like me). Here some links on them: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XHLdcEgB0cohttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KQ3C6QMf8gI&t=2s.

We have both mini-trampoline and a big (14ft) trampoline outside. My son loves a big one, but I can do all the workouts only on a rebounder (because I'm "too old" for our SkyBound).

    All the best,

    Aria
