I have just finished my last chemotherapy session and am not sure how long you have to wait before they scan you(I haven't been given any further appointments ?
Linda
Hi Linda Vanderstadt and a warm welcome to this corner of the Community although I am always sorry to see folks joining us. I am Mike and I help out around our various Lymphoma groups.
I was having a look back your posts and see that you have had a bumpy road over the past months.
A scan is normally done about 4-6 weeks after treatment is completed then a few weeks wait for results...... if you have a number for a Cancer Specialist Nurse (CNS) give them a call and ask.
Always around to help more or just to chat.
Thank you. I have mostly been following the cervical cancer group(as that was my first diagnosed cancer); my Lymphoma was diagnosed about 3 months later and not connected to the cervical cancer, so, as you said, it's been a bumby ride!
Yes you have been unlucky having two cancers ….. Lymphoma is Lymphoma and is not connected to any other cancer types.
The treatments used (R-CHOP?) are very effective for in doing the job so let’s look for a good scan result ((hugs))
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
