Hi everyone, just had to share my good news. After 4 lots of CHOP and 15 radiotherapy session, as from today I am officially in remission. I also have a headful of very curly hair.
I hope this gives a boost to those who are undergoing the tough treatment at the moment, things can get better - hang on in there!
Great news Bowelsbehavingbadly and worthy of a celebration. Navigating this final 1/3 of the cancer journey for some can be tricky so do look at this great paper After Treatment Finishes - Then What? by Dr Peter Harvey as it highlights the post treatment milestones.
Hello Sassy. How did Thursday go for you? I had no reaction this time around, but the chemo had taken ages I was in for 6 hours!
Feeling properly tired since, but I can't sleep well at night. Been getting sickness and acid throat aswell, but the tablets sort that out. Hope you've a better experience.
