Had cervical cancer in 2012 then just been diagnosed with cervical metastatic lung cancer

I’m really sorry to read that your cancer has come back after such a long time-that must have been a terrible shock for you.
We have other ladies in the group who are dealing with a diagnosis of a spread so I hope that you will hear from them soon so that they can share their experience of how they are dealing with this.
I understand you are waiting for an appointment for the next steps, so once you have a plan it will be helpful to let us know what treatment you will be having. That will help you connect with anyone else in the same situation.
My cancer did recur very soon after my treatment finished, but I was able to have a massive surgery so I haven’t undergone any other treatments for my recurrence.
I hope you’ll find others in the group who will be able to offer some relevant advice and experience to help support you.
