I had cervical cancer 17 years ago resulting in radical hysterectomy. A friend who had a similar result contacted macmillan about current symptoms and was informed about secondary cervical cancer. I have never heard of this either so hi to all on this forum. Hoping someone can give me some more information on this. Yes I have already tried putting it in the main search engine here but no information is available. TIA
Hi Jackie66 and welcome to our group.
Secondary cervical cancer (or any kind of cancer) is a cancer which has spread beyond the original site of the cancer-for example a cancer which has started in the cervix and spread to another part of the body.
If your friend is having some symptoms which are worrying her, has she been to her doctor to get referred to a consultant to have these symptoms investigated?
