Hi everyone
I’m quite concerned I had a Lletz done juse before Xmas as I had a colcospsy done early Dec which showed cin 2 numerous areas, these results I got within a week. but I haven’t got the results of gve Lletz biopsy back all the dr has said to me is that results are still pending, how could this take so long, last few days I have felt like I have a bad muscle strain in my lower abdomen is this a symptom of anything I haven’t done anything to actually pull a muscle, any thoughts on why results are still pending ?
thank you
Sonya
Hi Sonya and welcome to the group
Some ladies are having a longer than usual wait for pathology results at the moment, so it may be that the lab where your results have been sent is experiencing some delays due to the backlog in testing caused by covid.
It’s really hard to wait for biopsy results, and while it’s impossible to be certain of it being due to the current backlog, it’s actually the most likely explanation.
Hopefully you will have your results soon, and they will confirm that your CIN2 cells have been successfully removed. xx
It’s a long time you’ve had to wait Sonya. Have you tried calling up the clinic just to ask when your results will be available to give you an idea how long it might be? xx
