Hi all
I was wondering if there's any info on excessive bruising? I've noticed this last few months that I'm increasingly coming out in bruises, theyre mostly on legs and some on arms, they vary from a finger mark size to an egg size, Maybe they're totally unrelated to treatment or the after effects but I don't want to consult with Dr Google lol.
Thanks in advance
Angela
Hi Angela
Sorry you haven’t had a reply yet. I didn’t have any experience of this so couldn’t offer any help, but you’re right to stay off dr Google!
Hope someone else might come along with some helpful info for you.
Have a good weekend!
Sarah xx
Hi Angela...Well I wouldn't say I have excessive bruising but I do seem to bruise easier than I used to. As you say just little bruises on legs and arms and I am never aware of doing anything to cause them but maybe in my case, it's just old age. Sorry I can't be of more help! xxx
No Julie thankyou for reply,
Mine are completely unexplainable too! Maybe it's just an after effect of treatment? I wasn't overly concerned just more curious
Thanks again xx
Thanks Sarah,
It's just curiosity really and don't want to bother my GP, she's already having me tested for copd ! But I think it's just my asthma playing up but she's taking no chances. I sound and feel like a complete hypochondriac lol
Thanks again xx
Morning Angela
I’ve heard of it during treatment but not as long after treatment as you are, so I wouldn’t have thought it would be connected but who knows? I tend to bruise quite easily too but actually never gave it a thought other than perhaps old age has made me more clumsy!
Hope you’re enjoying the lovely weather this weekend.
Sarah xx
Hi Sarah,
I wasn't aware of it during treatment but just yesterday my son and me took the grandkids swimming and he said " if you were living with a partner I'd swear they were beating you mum" lol..so it must be bad lol.
Probably old age with me too folks xx
Oh my goodness! I had a row of bruises down my leg a couple of weeks ago but I know that was me foolishly attempting an electric bike on holiday! The bike won, but at least I didn’t fall off!

It did indeed! I’ve never been so scared in all my life I don’t think! I can’t imagine why on earth I thought I’d be able to go on a heavy bike with my lack of strength but I’m never doing it again!

Lol. Great fun story with an OUCH lol. At least you lived to tell the tale and...lesson learned .
