I was diagnosed with adeonsquamous carcinoma stage 1B2 4cm cervical cancer with extensive LVSI in Feb 2023. Following radical hysterectomy, chemo, radiotherapy and brachytherapy. I have been ok although suffered a lot of side effects following treatment. Recently(4weeks) found i have a lump in my neck and due to see my consultant in 2 weeks. I have not been ill and it doesnt hurt. I read up recently about what is extensive LVSI and now a little concerned. Does anyone have any advice they can give me please.
Hi Missmoggy98 and welcome to our group.
You've certainly been through a lot since your diagnosis, and I’m sorry to read you have this current worry to contend with.
My treatment was different, and didn’t involve me having extensive LVSI, so I’m not able to offer any advice, but i just wanted to say hello and welcome! You are very welcome to be with us.
Hopefully you will hear from others soon who have had a similar experience who can relate to this. I can understand that you’ll be concerned about something new happening after all you’ve been through before, but hopefully your consultant will be able to reassure you and order more tests if necessary.
I hope you’ll keep in touch and let us know how you get on. Take care.
Sarah xx
