Hi Smalice.
On here we can all understand your fears and anxiety so you are not alone. Everyone will tell you that the wait for scans and appointments and information is the worst part of this process. Was your consultant able to tell you stage/grade etc? To give you a rough time frame I got my diagnosis on 4th Jan this year, then you have endless appointments, scans, planning scans etc and then your MDT( multi disciplinary teams) need to meet and discuss a treatment plan that's individual for you . I began treatment on 10th Feb and finished on 31st March. Please pop in and have a chat there's some lovely ladies on here who have a wealth of info that will benefit you greatly. Keep chatting and take care . Angela xx
Hi Smalice and a warm welcome to our group!
It’s sad to see you having this diagnosis, but you’ve come to the right place for support and advice, and a friendly ear. It’s difficult at this point when you haven’t had scans to tell you more, and we all know how awful it is to be in this limbo of waiting. But it’s important that the scans are done to give a full picture of what’s happening so that the right treatment plan can be determined.
I hope you don’t have long to wait for the mri, and that you’ll find out more soon. Please feel free to post and ask any questions, and please don’t feel alone. We all know what this is like and can support you through this.
Sarah xx
