Hello Everyone!
I’m new in here.
I was diagnosed with De Nuovo Metastatic BC in early April following a back ache that began to affect my ability to walk as I began to get numbness and in my legs.
A scan revealed mets in my spine T4, a fracture and small met in mY liver and the primary, which was in my left breast, that I didn’t know I had. I had what I thought was scar tissue from a fall months ago.
All a bit of a shock and, although I can stand and take steps with aid, I’m now in a wheelchair. I’m lucky that I can stand and transfer though so it’s not too bad.
I had a large dose of radiotherapy in April to stabilise my spine and since then I’ve had a lot more movement return.
I’m on Letrozole and Palbociclib now and had 5 days of palliative radiotherapy on my breast.
Side effects are numerous but not too bad and I had my first 3 month scan last week. I’m seeing my oncologist on Wednesday for the results so I’m a little anxious.
My hair has been thinning and breaking a lot so I just wondered if anyone had any tips about improving that?
Hi Gardenrosa,
I can't personally recommend anything, however I've seen others recommend Nioxin for thinning hair.Might be worth a shot.
