ibwas diagnosed with both breast and secondary bone cancer around 2 months ago currently going through chemotherapy I am trying to take it a day at a time it’s really overwhelming I just wanted to acknowledge your email and let you know u ain’t alone take care x 

I’m so sorry to hear that Carol. Words can’t cover what a shock it must be for you and your family.

I have secondary breast cancer in my bones. Was diagnosed June 2020 and I was 39 with a 2 and 7 year old.

It’s not easy, BUT there are so many drugs available. I had chemo and am now on letrozole and palbocyclib with zoledronic acid every 3 months.

There are lots of people on the forum who have been on lots of treatment for many years so there’s definitely hope.

Sorry to hear of your secondary diagnosis. I also had cancer in 2008 and since then barely gave it a thought. It really is such a blow and a shock. So many emotions are going through you I'm sure but once you have a treatment plan you will be able to focus on doing everything you can to fight this. 

Everyone will support you in any way they can so do keep us posted.
