I have been taking letrozole for 6 months and ribociclib for 4 months for metastatic breast cancer. In the last few days I have noticed some changes in my body. Firstly I noticed that I was having little stabbing pains around the tumour in one of my breasts. It’s like being stabbed with a pin and can last anything from a few seconds to a few minutes. Secondly, I have noticed that the same breast has become smaller. I’m not sure of the timeline for this as I only noticed it by accident last night. Are these things normal and has anyone else experienced similar changes? I am between hospital visits and was just looking for advice before I go back. Thank you for any insight you can provide.
