At the moment I am having denosumab every four weeks at the same time I get my other meds. I have now been told I can have 8 weeks between picking up weds.....I am worried about only having denosumab every 8 weeks as everything I see on the Internet says 4 weeks. Anyone else had experience of this?
I am one of the community champions on the breast cancer forums. I have secondary breast cancer but I don’t have experience of this drug. I also looked and the protocol seems to be every 4 weeks with the possibility of 6 weeks if this fits with other drug cycles. Maybe they intend to give you 2 cycles worth each time you pick up? Definitely worth querying, I think.
