Hi,
I'm new to the forums.
I have secondary breast cancer with mets in skin and lung.
I have recently been on Trodelvy for 3 cycles but the scan showed it hadn't helped, and I now have mets in the liver as well. My oncology consultant is recommending that I go onto Enhertu. I tolerated Trodelvy well, with only minimal GI issues in cycle 1, and tiredness. I am worried about the side effects of Enhertu and wonder if anyone has been on Trodelvy and then Enhertu, and what your experience was like?
Thanks in advance for any comments :)
Hi Cally28
I am one of the community champions on this forum. I have metastatic tnbc but achieved remission through pembrolizumab and therefore haven’t experienced either of these drugs, at least not yet. I did want to welcome you to the community. Would I be right in thinking you are triple negative but HER2 low? I think there are substantial issues getting access to Enhertu in England based on knowing Breast Cancer Now are running a petition to try to get NICE to reconsider this. A substantial number of community users will be in England, so you may not find many people to give feedback on Enhertu. Enhertu following Trodelvy is possibly an even smaller community, as I understand Trodelvy is typically only used for metastatic tnbc that isn’t suitable for PD-1 inhibitors or PARP inhibitors or where these have failed. Trodelvy is my next line of treatment when/if my remission ends. I am a user of another metastatic breast cancer forum where many of the users are US based, and I have seen a lot of positive comment about Enhertu on there. I hope it works for you.

Thank you. Yes, I have metastatic tnbc (HER2 ultralow) and didn't achieve any success with my chemo//surgery/radiotherapy/pembro combination. I am based in the Channel Islands and I think the access to treatment is slightly different to England, but thanks for the info regarding US based forums - I'll take a look.
It’s the SHARE metastatic cancer group on Health Unlocked. Health Unlocked is a UK site but the various health based things on it can be from anywhere and I think that group is probably US based. Certainly most of the users are. I read it but don’t usually post on it although I am a regular user of the running based groups on HU. As always these things are just people’s experiences and can’t predict how you will react.
I think Enhertu is approved for HER2 low in Scotland. Possibly also in Northern Ireland. But not in England and Wales, hence BCN’s campaign.
