Hi everyone
I have been on the BC forum since 2022 , I had chemo / surgery / radiotherapy and two years of Abemaciclib ..
Four weeks ago , I had a seizure at home , long story short after spending 5 days in hospital , they told me I had a large mass ( tumour ) in the right side of my brain
I haven’t seen an oncologist or anyone else yet for that matter but after a call from a neuro oncology nurse she told me today that they thought it was BC spread to brain and that the neurosurgeon wouldn’t be operating …
I’ve had other full body scans which are apparently clear .
I’m absolutely terrified
Does anyone have any similar experience? I have no idea what happens now
love to all
Hi Dollydimple
I am so sorry that it looks like your cancer may have spread to your brain. I have secondary cancer but not in my brain (my spread was to liver) so have no experience in what might happen next but didn’t want to leave your post unanswered. Any progression is awful but I can imagine spread to the brain is absolutely terrifying. I hope they come up with a plan for you soon.
