As part of my treatment I receive IV Zometa every 3months.
I have a lot of dental problems due to my Lupus meds and health issues.
I have recently lost 4 teeth and have bone fragments pushing through and socket doesn't heal.
My dentist was monitoring the situation but she is now referring me to the Maxillo Facial department at hospital.
I am aware of the side effects of the Zometa.
This has been stopped meantime.
Has anyone had experience of this and what was done to treat it.
I have secondary breast cancer to various bones.
Scans are stable.

I’m Anne, one of the Community Champions here on the Online Community and, although I'm not a member of this group, I noticed that your post hadn't had any replies yet. Responding to you will 'bump' it back to the top of the discussion list again.
I have also had Zometa, once every 6 months for 3 years so far but haven't had the same issues as you. I hope they are able to treat you successfully for your teeth problems.
