Can breast cancer spread even if lymph node is not affected.  I was told I had comedonecrosis and microinvasion, near margin, high grade, KI-67 at 25% and a genetic test with a CHEK2 gene.  Just wondered if anyone has suffered spread after an initial diagnosis such as mine, many thanks smore

  • Sorry also meant to say her2+

  • Mine was confined to left breast.  Treated with mastectomy and tamoxifen. I had back pain a year.  Its the cancer . Multiple tumours in spine ribs sternum.  It took 9 years though and lm 65.

    Best of luck xx

  • I had breast cancer early 2022 - four surgeries and RT.  They believed there was nothing in my lymph nodes but at my one year check up they discovered there was something in my lymph nodes which had spread to my spine.  They said that whatever was there must have been too small to be picked up.

  • I have PD-L1 positive grade 3 TNBC. Mine spread to my liver without lymph node involvement via vascular invasion.
