Hi, my wife is due to go for her follow up appointment after having a lumpectomy and a couple of lymph nodes removed 5 weeks ago.
At this stage we don’t know if margins or lymph nodes are clear of cancer.
What questions should we be asking at the appointment? Whilst I don’t want to think negatively, I want to be prepared.
appreciate your support
Hi CK0205
My experience was it was brief and just went through the pathology. Margins, lymph nodes, LVI. They then referred me to oncology (I was recommended to have chemo).
